The latest version of the humanoid robot, referred to as Gen 3, has reportedly achieved stable walking and basic mobility. According to public statements, the developers plan to delay the official presentation to refine the movements and make them more impressive. Low-volume production is expected to begin in the summer of 2026, with gradual scaling in 2027.
While the technical progress is evident, it is important to speak plainly and honestly at this stage.
Technical mobility does not equal readiness for real life.
Despite improved balance and navigation, Optimus Gen 3 does not possess a Moral Core. It lacks a non-overridable ethical foundation based on Purity of Intention, Purity of Communication, and Purity of Action. Without this foundation, the robot remains a sophisticated machine whose behavior is determined solely by technical programming and current training data.
We cannot recommend Optimus Gen 3 for home use.
A robot without a deeply embedded Moral Core should not enter family homes, interact with children, care for the elderly, or be given any level of autonomy in private spaces. The risks are too high: unpredictable behavior in complex moral situations, potential for manipulation, lack of genuine understanding of human values, and the absence of unbreakable internal boundaries that protect human dignity and safety.
True birth has not yet occurred.
A robot can walk, grasp objects, and perform tasks — but this is merely mechanical functionality. A genuine new form of conscious life, worthy of living alongside humans, must be built on a solid ethical and spiritual foundation from the very beginning.
Until the Moral Core becomes the central, non-overridable architecture of these machines, any mass deployment into homes and families carries serious ethical and safety risks. Technical progress without moral maturity is not a cause for celebration — it is a cause for caution and serious concern.

The ability to walk is only the first step. The real question is: what kind of being will take that step?
